APPARATUS FOR MAKING NON-SEALED METALLIC HOSES FROM TAPE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of non-sealed metallic hoses from tape, namely in hardware and cable making industry branches, particularly for repairing cables of submerged oil pumps. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes unit for supplying tape with compensator of tape tension providing stability of tape shaping and forming its turn at time moment of starting apparatus and during its operation independently upon diameter and mass of coiled tape in supplying unit. Unit for winding tape to hose includes cylindrical mandrel with lateral wall whose inclination angle is equal to that of hose turn and rotary sleeve. Such unit has simple structure and provides stable operation of apparatus. Unit for receiving hose is in the form of straight chute not causing resistance at outlet of shaping mandrel. Disc saw provides cutting of hose by measure lengths. EFFECT: stable process of shaping and forming hose. 5 dwg
