FIELD: opening of dampers of steel casting ladles. SUBSTANCE: lance holder is in the form of quick-release coupling inside which there is elastic tubular sealing member fastened by means of unions mounted on upper and lower ends of coupling. Cavity between coupling body and elastic tubular member is communicated with locking device and with lance in the form of thin-wall tube. Joining with lance is realized by means of calibrated openings. Locking device is in the form of lever-type manual valve and it is joined with pipeline for feeding oxygen through branch pipe rigidly mounted on body of locking device. Axes of branch pipe and coupling are mutually parallel. EFFECT: enhanced safety of compact easy-to-operate apparatus. 1 dwg
