STONE SPLITTING PRESS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: stone splitting press has vertical columns rigidly connected through cross-members, power and supporting tool blocks mounted on columns and equipped with drives for moving said blocks. Splitting members are mounted inside tool blocks. Power block has cassette for accommodation of splitting members and heads movably mounted on columns and pivotally connected with cassette. Press is further provided with mechanisms for forced adjustment displacement of splitting members into working zone and for withdrawal of splitting members from working zone. Each of said mechanisms may be made in the form of at least one power cylinder and tie-rod kinematically connected to power cylinder rod and to shanks of splitting members. Press may be used in open stone pits for mining of natural stone or in stone dressing enterprises for splitting large-sized natural stone blocks. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, enhanced reliability in operation and increased efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
