FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: polystyrene foam-concrete for use in construction as wall and heat-insulating material is manufactured as follows. Cement is first stirred with water. To resulting mixture, polystyrene foam granules in amount of 0.2-0.4 cu.m/1 cu.m concrete are added, the total is stirred for further 0.5-5 min, after which foam in amounts 0.4-0.8 cu.m/1 cu.m concrete is added, stirring is continued for further 0.5-5 min, more polystyrene foam granules in amounts 0.2-0.4 cu.m/1 cu. m concrete are added, and the total is finely agitated for 0.5-5 min.
