SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel 2,4-dioxo-5-arylideneimino-1,3-pyrimidines of the general formula (I) where R is taken independently among group: H, OH, lower alkoxyl-group, halogen atom, nitro-group, di-(lower)-alkylamino-group; n = 1-3; or two adjacent R in common with benzene ring to which they are bound form benzo-, dibenzo-group at n = 2, 4 and they form 3,4-dioxolane ring at n = 2. The most preferable are compounds of the general formula (I) where R is H; n = 1; or R is 4-Cl; n = 1; or R is 3-Cl; n = 1; or R is 2-Cl; n = 1; or R is 4-Br; n = 1; or R is 4-OH; n = 1; or R is 2,4-(OH)2; n = 2; or R is 2-OH; 5-Br; n = 2; or R is 2-OH; 5-Cl; n = 2; or R is 4-F; n = 1; or R is 2,4-Cl2; n = 2; or R is 2-OH; 3,5-Cl2; n = 3; or R is 2-OH; 3,5-Br2; n = 3; or R is 4-OCH3; n = 1; or R is 4-OH; 3-OCH3; n = 2; or R is 4-NO2; n = 1; or R is 3-NO2; n = 1; or R is 2-NO2; n = 1; or R is 2-OH, 5-NO2; n = 2; or R is 2-OH; 5,6-benzo-group; n = 3; or R is 3,4-dioxolano-group; n = 2; or R is 2-NO2; 4,5-dioxolano-group; n = 3; or R is 2,3,5,6-dibenzo-group; n = 4; or R is 2-OH, 3,5-J2; n = 3; or R is 4-N(CH3)2; n = 2. Indicated compounds show antiviral, immunostimulating, antichlamidiosis, antituberculosis, psychodepressive, analgetic and hepatoprotective effects and can be used in pharmaceutical industry.
