SUBSTANCE: invention provides liquid hydrocarbon compositions containing paraffin hydrocarbon compositions wherein degree of branching BD, found from percentage of methyl hydrogens available, and interbranching distance, determined on the basis of percentage of repeating methylene carbons separated by four or more carbon atoms from the end group or branching (CH₂>4), are such that BD-0.5(CH₂>4) > 15 and BD+0.85(CH₂>4) <45 when measured all across the liquid hydrocarbon composition.
