FIELD: plastic metal working; manufacture of sheets from titanium-based alloys. SUBSTANCE: method includes heating flat ingot at rate of 3.95-4.05 deg/min in (α+β)-region to temperature below alloy polymorphous transformation temperature by 10-15 C, hot rolling of flat ingot during several passes to total cogging of 65-75%, cutting blanks, heating blanks at rate of 4.15-4.20 deg/min in (α+β)- region to temperature below polymorphous transformation temperature by 70-80 C followed by rolling at this temperature for several passes to total cogging of 80-85%; then, heat treatment is performed in pure nitrogen atmosphere at 600-650 C followed by pickling, dressing and cutting to required sizes. EFFECT: improved quality of sheets.
