FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to production of flat-rolled products from low-alloyed titanium alloys. Flat-rolled products from low-alloyed titanium alloy containing, wt.%: Fe not more than 0.5, O not more than 0.4, C not more than 0.10, N not more than 0.03, titanium and unavoidable impurities — the rest, has a single-type basic crystallographic texture , characterized by the location of the basis plane in the plane of the rolled product. Average value of pole density of basis component is not more than 8.0 units, wherein ratio of yield strength σ0.2 in transverse direction to σ0.2 in the longitudinal direction ranges from 0.95 to 1.1, ratio of ultimate resistance σU in transverse direction to σU in the longitudinal direction ranges from 0.95 to 1.07. Alpha phase contained in the rolled metal microstructure has a degree of recrystallisation of not less than 95%, and the average grain size of the alpha phase is from 10 to 30 mcm. Method of producing flat rolled products from low-alloyed titanium alloy includes melting an ingot of said composition, thermomechanical treatment of the ingot in two stages to produce a slab, rolling of the slab to obtain a semi-finished product, rolling of the semi-finished product to a final size to obtain a flat product and its thermal treatment. Slab rolling with production of semi-finished products is carried out in 2 stages, on the first of which rolling is carried out in the longitudinal direction at heating temperatures from the polymorphic transformation temperature PTT to temperature of 50 °C higher PTT with degree of relative deformation of 70–90%, and at the second stage rolling is carried out in longitudinal direction at heating temperatures below PTT by 120–160 °C with degree of relative deformation of 50–80%. Rolling of the semi-finished product to the final size is carried out in the transverse direction at heating temperatures of the semi-finished product below PTT by 120–160 °C with degree of relative deformation of 30–60%. Heat treatment of flat rolled products is carried out at temperature of 600–660 °C for 0.5–2 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining high mechanical properties and minimum anisotropy.
