FIELD: metal processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming by pressure, namely to methods of making sheets by cold rolling from pseudo-alpha titanium alloys. Method of producing sheets from pseudo-alpha titanium alloys involves deformation of an ingot into a slab, mechanical processing of the slab, multirun slabbing for semifinished rolled product, cutting of semifinished rolled product into sheet workpieces, multirun hot rolling of the workpieces, cold rolling, annealing and finishing treatment of the sheets. Multirun slabbing for semifinished rolled product is carried out in the β-area with total deformation degree of not less than 50%, hot rolling of sheet workpieces is carried out in two stages, herewith the first stage involves longitudinal rolling in the (α+β)-zone within the temperature range below the polymorphic transformation temperature (PTT) by 70-200 °C. Second stage involves transverse hot rolling with change rolling direction by 90° in the (α+β)-area within the temperature range below the PTT by 70-200 °C followed by cold rolling to produce sheets; herewith the total deformation degree at hot and cold rollings at the second stage makes 60-90 % at the ratio of deformation degrees of hot to cold rolling from 0.8 to 1.2, annealing of sheets is carried out at the temperature of 700-820 °C for 0.5-1 hour, followed by warm temper rolling at the temperature of 600±50 °C.

EFFECT: obtaining thin sheets of large formate from difficult-to-form titanium alloys with low anisotropy of mechanical properties and high value of bending angle at room temperature.
