FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing of thin sheets from titanium alloy Ti - 6.5Al-2.5Sn-4Zr-1Nb-0.7Mo-0.15Si includes preliminary processing of the ingot by forging or stamping of the ingot in β-area with obtaining of the slab, hot rolling of the slab into the semifinished rolled stock are conducted in two stages. On the first - at the temperature T“пп”+(100-150)°C with total deformation 60-80%, on the second - at the temperature T“пп”±30°C with total deformation 50-90% with deformation in pass, equal 10-15%, up to the thickness of the semifinished rolled stock equal to 2-4 mm, with the subsequent annealing and etching. Further cold rolling is performed in two or more stages with the level of deformation 10-20% with intermediate and final annealings and finishing processings. After hot rolling and each stage of cold rolling the annealing at the temperature 900±10°C within 10-20 minutes is performed.
EFFECT: improvement of processability of production and quality of thin sheets from low deformable titanium alloy on the standard equipment at decrease of labour input and cost of the process.
