FIELD: manufacturing technology; antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of reflective mesh surfaces of parabolic antennae and can be used for assembly of large-size transformed aerials of spacecrafts. Method of making a mesh antenna surface involves knitting a mesh web of metal thread with thickness of not more than 30 mcm, on the surface of which high-conductivity metal is applied. Web is knitted from molybdenum or tungsten wire with formation of cells of the same rhomboid shape with sizes of sides from 9 to 20 mm, which are made with possibility to change rhomb angle at tension of web. High-conductivity metal is preferably applied on the surface of the thread prior to knitting the web.
EFFECT: improved optical transparency and reflecting capacity of the network antenna.
