FIELD: acceleration engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed commercial-type charged-particle accelerator designed for generating single and multiple beams including parallel relativistic ones such as those having different energy and composed of different-polarity charges has injection unit, acceleration unit, output device, and power supply. Acceleration unit is made in the form of at least two electrodynamically coupled acceleration units of single-channel linear induction accelerators relatively positioned so that electric field in working channel of any of them opposes field in working channel of at least one of adjacent acceleration units of single-channel linear induction accelerators. EFFECT: reduced size, enhanced level of electromagnetic compatibility, facilitated manufacture, enhanced safety in operation, reduced cost, simplified design. 9 cl, 36 dwg
