METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF OSSEOUS CYST Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, traumatology. SUBSTANCE: one should remove pathological focus within the limits of healthy tissue. After removing the cyst, one should develop cavity with rectangular walls. Then one should form a constrained transplant by cutting adjacent donor bone and sphenoidly connecting its distal ends to provide the depth of cuts corresponding to that of a cavity. Transplant's distraction is carried out till complete cavity replacement. If necessary, transplant's distraction should be performed since the 5th d after operation at the dosage of 0.25 mm 4 times daily under roentgenological control.
