FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention provides method for preparation of copolymer- 1 representing mixture of polypeptides constituted by alanine, glutamic acid, lysine, and tyrosine at molar ratio approximately 6:2:5:1 and having molecular weight about 5 to 9 kDa, which consists in reaction of protected copolymer-1 with hydrobromic acid to form trifluoroacetyl-copolymer-1 and treatment of the latter with aqueous solution of piperidine to give copolymer-1, which, after purification, has required molecular weight.
