FIELD: bridge building and reconstruction. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes demounting of existing railway bridge with spaced framework, removal of bridge framework from existing fundamental supports of bridge to be reconstructed, transportation of bridge framework afloat to place of erection of pedestrian bridge and mounting it on newly erected supports using adjustable floating system. Novelty is that at displacement of bridge framework first of all floating system is brought out of range of railway bridge to be reconstructed, then said floating system is displaced through distance not less than half the length of bridge framework and then it is turned through angle up to 90° and, with system in this position, bridge framework is moved to place of erection of pedestrian bridge to distance from axis of newly erected pedestrian bridge to center of bridge framework on floating system which is at least 0.27 of length of bridge framework, then floating system is again turned through angle less than 90° at least through value not exceeding value of angle of tilting of axis of erected pedestrian bridge to axis of fairway and after driving bridge framework into range of pedestrian bridge, framework is mounted at acute angle relative to fairway axis. Result is decrease of volume of work, labor and material input at reconstruction of bridgework with simultaneous provision of organization of transport flows for megapolis and no adverse effect on environment.
