FIELD: sporting guns, applicable for installation of optical sight on the weapon, it comprises a member of attachment on the weapon and at beast one circular clamping member in its upper part, the member of attachment on the weapon is made of sheet metal as a clamp with a seat for the sight and side ring springs. SUBSTANCE: the method for manufacture of the device for attachment of the optical sight on the weapon consists in the fact that manufacture of the device is accomplished by machining of the metal, which first is effected under pressure; to this end, a stamping of a rectangular cut- out of sheet metal with exposed side skews and inner square cut-out of sheet metal is made, and a profile in the form a clamp with a seat for the sight is formed, and then drilling of through holes in the walls of the side ring springs is accomplished, and a thread is cut on them.
