METHOD FOR PREDICTING EPISODES OF TEMPORARY MYOCARDIAL ISCHEMIA Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with revealing short-term episodes of myocardial ischemia. ECG monitoring is carried out either at the state of rest or at loading tests. Rhythmocardiogram is registered. Spectral power of rhythmocardiogram is analyzed. It is, also, analyzed low-frequency constituent of spectral power - LF value. At short-term decrease of LF value up to 40 sq. msec and lower one should predict an episode of temporary myocardial ischemia. The method is of high sensitivity value that enables to diagnose temporary episodes of myocardial ischemia, at the earliest disease stages and no clinical signs, among them.
