FIELD: method and device for manufacture of sections of elastic material subject to further-treatment, in particular, packing sections for the building industry. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in extrusion of the section and its vulcanization in a salt melt at a temperature of 170 to 330C. The necessary data are applied onto a section by a stamp and coated with a coating facilitating the mounting. Lacquer for lubrication applied onto a non-vulcanized section surface after its outlet from the extruder and before the entry to the salt melt is used as coating. The sections are manufactured of material that is not repelling the lacquer. The device for the method has an extruder, salt melt, section for application of the coating and a stamping section. The section for application of the coating is positioned between the extruder and the salt melt and at a distance from the salt bath. Described also the section for mounting, in particular, window section for building industry. The section has a tooth and a packing body, whose surface is provided with a coating facilitating the mounting. The coating consists of lacquer for lubrication applied onto the non-vulcanized section body. Lacquer can be hardened in the salt melt at a temperature of 170 to 330C. EFFECT: reduced friction coefficient of sections stable in storage, with uniform coating of lacquer over the entire surface without air bubbles. 21 cl, 2 dwg
