FIELD: seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for formation of multiply repeating pulse seismic signals. Device includes hole, packer installed in hole through which drain pipe passes, fuel line and line transmitting detonation. In agreement with invention hole is drilled into dense rock, beneath zone of low speed, where packer is installed. It limits working space of hole between it and end of drain pipe. This volume is filled with air over line transmitting detonation. Fuel line has receiver with gas to form stoichiometric mixture with air in working space of hole and to detonate this mixture with its propagation along hole and radiation of transverse seismic waves. EFFECT: increased efficiency of radiation of transverse waves by seismic source in dense rocks with possibility of their multiple repetition in specified time intervals. 4 cl, 2 dwg
