FIELD: mining industry, in particular, charges for blasting in coal open pits. SUBSTANCE: the essence of the invention consists in lay-out and count of masses of active and passive explosives, the detonating velocity of the active explosive exceeds that of the passive explosive. The invention has five modifications of the mentioned charge and enhances the efficiency of blasting due to provision of maximum liberation of blast energy by excitation of detonation wave in the active explosive of the required pulse density during the shortest period of time and attainment of a new quality of blast.
