FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to calibration of light-emitting diodes and their usage in noninvasive oxyhemometers. Approach makes it possible to tune light-emitting diodes 162 in given range by way of selection of their excitation current in order to generate precise length of wave. Approach ensures method of calibration and use of probe 150 of light-emitting diodes to obtain known value of shift in length of wave for known change in excitation current. In the general case principle of shift of length of wave to change excitation current in light-emitting diodes is employed to secure more precise calibration and additional flexibility in usage of sensors of light-emitting diodes especially when exact length of wave is needed to obtain precise measurements. Apart from it invention also guarantees system that does not require to know exact lengths of waves of light- emitting diodes, when exact lengths of waves were needed in the past and when method and device are used to establish working length of wave of light-emitting element such as light-emitting diode.
