FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: muddiness of water is measured by light absorption and dissipation using directed radiator and some receiving photo detectors distanced from radiator for optical base at definite angles to direction of radiation to register angular diagram of light dissipation in suspension particles. Mean size of suspended particles is computed by microprocessor by photo detector signal level increments measured in two wavelengths radiated in turns in one direction by two LEDs.
