FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring time between beams sent to and reflected from aerological radiosonde, measuring angular coordinates of the aerological radiosonde and receiving current meteorological data for calculating inclined distance error of aerological radiosonde. Real inclination angle and real inclined range to the aerological radiosonde are determined with an error taken into account to determine real altitude of the aerological radiosonde. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements. 4 dwg
