FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: helmet collimator indicator includes collimation spherical mirror and excitation generator optically coupled to it, positioned in symmetry plane of helmet and fitted with light fiber screen which radiation surface is matched with focal surface of collimating spherical mirror. Direction of light-conducting fibers of screen makes with perpendicular to radiation surface of screen across output of fiber an angle not exceeding critical angle for total internal reflection of fiber. Incidence angle of light rays going out of radiation surface of mirror on to spherical mirror is determined by dependence given in formula of invention. In this case angle contained between line of observer's eye directed on to horizon and line of eye directed at upper point of induced image should not exceed maximum angle of turn of eye along vertical. EFFECT: simplified design of indicator convenient in handling which does not impair aerodynamic characteristics of helmet. 2 dwg
