FIELD: optomechanical and optoelectronic devices, applicable in control systems of aircraft complexes.
SUBSTANCE: the method is based on scanning of the space in which the helmet assembly with several (n) radiating diodes is present, determination of the primary bearings for each of n radiating diodes and the position of n radiating diodes in the space plane passing through the reference points of the helmet assembly through the reference points of the helmet assembly, in which the radiating diodes are positioned. According to the values of the primary bearings, the rate of change of the bearing values is determined, the value of the rate of change of each primary bearing is inverted, and the obtained values are summed up with the respective values of the primary bearings. According to the obtained summary values of the primary bearings, the position of the sighting line of the helmet system of target indication line of the helmet system of target indication in space is determined. The sighting device consisting of a helmet assembly with radiating diodes, scanning units, unit for determination of the bearing codes and a device for determination of the sighting line, uses also a counter of the scanning periods and a device for determination and registration of the pilot's head tremor. Each of them is connected to the respective output of the unit for determination of the bearing codes.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of sighting.
