FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking measurements in different periods of prosthesis usage and comparing the results. Thin narrow layer of radiopaque substance is applied to the removable prosthesis base from side of prosthesis bed according to alveolar crest top disposition and maxillary and mandibular orthopantogram is built. The orthopantogram data for the case of jaws with removable prostheses are processed for determining distance between alveolar crest top and boundary of radiopaque substance placed in advance on the removable prosthesis base from side of prosthesis bed along alveolar process crest. EFFECT: simplified method.
