METHOD TO INCREASE EDENTULOUS PROSTHETIC BED MUCOSA VOLUME AND COMPLIANCE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61C13/00

SUBSTANCE: autotransplant is taken from the patient and administered under the mucous membrane of the edentulous jaw alveolar bone. Autoplasma obtained after venous blood centrifugation, enriched in platelets and growth factors is used as autotransplant. Autoplasma is administered by a syringe under the edentulous prosthetic bed mucosa along the upper or lower jaw alveolar bone top, and in the hard palate joint area of the upper jaw based on 0.2-0.3 ml of autoplasma per 1 cm² of a low-compliant prosthetic bed mucosa portion. After autoplasma introduction low-compliant portions mucosa finger massage is performed for 5-6 minutes. At that, in case of the 1st degree of mucous membrane supple compliance, 1 course is performed, and in case of the 2nd degree of compliance, 2 courses are performed with an interval of 8-10 days.

EFFECT: method allows to increase prosthetic bed mucosa thickness, increase local immunity, restore prosthetic bed mucosal haemocirculation, reduce prosthetic bed tissue atrophy and also improve stabilization of the full or partial edentulous jaw denture.
