FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and can be used to prepare a toothless prosthetic bed before prosthetics. To do this, 7 % of “Collost” gel is injected with a syringe under the mucosa of a toothless prosthetic bed at the apex of the alveolar process of the upper or lower jaw. Introduction is carried out at the rate of 0.1–0.2 ml of the drug per 1 cm2 slow-yielding section of the mucosa of the prosthetic bed. Additionally, finger massage of the mucous membrane of these areas is carried out for 5-6 minutes after the introduction of the gel.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the thickness, elasticity and strength of the mucosa of the prosthetic bed, restoration of hemocirculation, a decrease in tissue atrophy, as well as improving stabilization of a removable prosthesis on the full or partial toothless jaw.
