FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves stocking root strands from roots of mother trees; preparing and planting cuttings; introducing hydrogel by throwing it over soil surface and embedding it to depth of 10-12 cm; planting cuttings by laying fractions into furrows of 10 cm depth at an angle of 45 deg on the basis of 20 pieces per running meter and covering with substrate over the entire length thereof; mulching planted cuttings with wet sawdust and half-rot leaf fall brought together with planting material; covering spacings with woven water-permeable dark mulching film by spreading it over soil surface, fastening by means of pins; cutting said film over furrows; bringing film edges apart to 3-5 cm and fastening; maintaining soil moisture content at the level of 75-80% of maximum water capacity. EFFECT: increased efficiency in rooting of cuttings prepared from old-age genetically valuable mother trees. 1 tbl
