FIELD: forestry, in particular, creation of artificial plantation, preferably English oak seed plantation.
SUBSTANCE: method involves collecting acorns from acorn cups; before sowing of acorns on sowing areas of 50-60x50-60 cm, spilling dry hydrogel granules at the rate of 100-120 g/m2 and embedding into 0-30 cm thick soil layer; sowing acorns in holes of 6-10 cm depth; covering sowing area with black mulching film provided with cross-shaped slot; fixing plastic pipes having diameter of 8-10 cm above holes for providing optimum microclimate, said pipes being deepened to 3-5 cm depth. Method allows advantageous hydrothermal soil conditions and favorable microclimate to be created.
EFFECT: provision for creating of optimal growth and development conditions for seedlings in dry steppe and semiarid zones.
