FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making examination by measuring cardiac rhythmogram in rest state and under loading. Initial vegetative tonus type is to be determined from the cardiac rhythmogram as one of qualitative characteristics like eutonia, vagotonia, sympatheticotonia, dystonia to which A, B, C, D coefficients are assigned, respectively. The degrees of cardiac rhythmogram parameter deviations from corresponding initial vegetative tonus type norm are determined. The calculated point evaluations describing the deviations are adjusted taking into account the initial vegetative tonus type. The points are multiplied by a corresponding coefficient A= 1.5, B= 1.25, C=1.5, D=1.7. Conclusion is drawn. 1-3 points show satisfactory adaptation degree. 4-5 points indicate adaptation mechanical stress. 6-7 points are indicative of unsatisfactory adaptation. EFFECT: reliability of diagnosis; individualized examination data interpretation. 2 tbl
