WARNING BOARD USED AS TRAFFIC SEPARATING LINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: road building. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of warning boards used as traffic separating lines. Said board is provided with attachment with warning or direction signs which turns over when car runs onto said attachment. Boards is provided with pair of hinge joints through which lower end of attachment is connected with support plate or directly with surface of roadbed. Each hinge joint is furnished with spring-loaded. With lock in first position, attachment is held vertically, and second fixed position serves to stop turned over attachment. Each hinge joint consists of two similar parts one of which can be connected to attachment, and other, to support plate or to surface of roadbed. Each part is provided with hole to pass horizontal axle. Each part of hinge joint can have non-round cavity to receive lock member. Said lock member can be provided with cross locking slots on its surface pointed outwards, and second lock member can be provided with locking rib. At least one lock member can be exposed to action of plate spring pressing lock members to each other. EFFECT: prevention of throwing warning board aside when car runs onto board. 9 cl, 5 dwg
