FIELD: road infrastructure.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road sections on which artificial irregularities are arranged. Automated artificial unevenness for forced reduction of the speed of movement and stopping the car in front of the intersection is made of a block of slabs made of different heights with cutouts for supporting-guide I-beams. The block of slabs is installed in a concrete trench flush with an overlap over the trench and asphalt pavement, forms a stepped unevenness under the influence of the shaft eccentrics. The shaft is made with the possibility of extending the block of plates at the prohibiting phase of the traffic light cycle and lowering them at the permissive phase by means of the drive. The drive consists of an electric motor and a worm gear for the possibility of self-braking of the blocking system against pressure on artificial unevenness from the outside, as well as end sensors that interrupt the electrical circuit. The artificial unevenness is additionally equipped with a retractable dividing strip.
EFFECT: increasing the capacity of the road at intersections.
