FIELD: drilling equipment used to form loads on drilling bit while drilling shallow holes. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic hammer-pulser has body, piston mounted in body for movement, anvil, valve gear including valve plate, rod, spring, upper substitute, seals. Body carries partitions, side branches for flow of flushing fluid, rests limiting movement of piston and window. Piston has through conduits and tail part communicating with atmosphere through window. Valve plate is positioned above piston for periodic shutting off and opening of its through conduits and is linked to spring-loaded rod. Length of rod is so chosen that valve plate closes through conduits in piston when it is in upper position and opens them when it is in lower position. EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced operational reliability of hydraulic hammer- pulser. 1 dwg
