FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: process of development of gently dipping and inclined coal formations with use of cleaning powered complexes includes excavation of coal in longwall face, keeping of support across junction between development working and breakage face by means of frame support and cross supports with reinforcement of support in zone of bearing pressure and control over formation roof by way of complete collapse of rocks of roof behind powered support. Support of excavation gallery across its matching with breakage face in zone of bearing pressure is reinforced by increase of bearing capability of pliable props of frame support due to installation of brake devices in front of ends of joints in connecting pliable units. Development workings fixed by means of anchors are reinforced by installation of additional stronger and longer anchors between anchors erected before and by their fixing in zone of rocks not subject to intensive displacement. Cross supports of beam structure are attached to formation roof with the aid of anchors of enhanced bearing capability with their fixing in zone of rock mass not subjected to deformation displacement. Monolithic difficult-to-fall roof is loosened by method of hydraulic stratification by injection of fluid or water into wells drilled into formation roof from under powered support. Wells for injection of fluid or water can be drilled along line of matching of breakage face with development working with inclination towards breakage face. Distance between adjacent wells is supposed to be sufficient to secure hydraulic coupling in rock mass after injection of fluid or water into wells. Brake device can come in the form either binding clamps or plates with edges adjustable by depth of cutting.
