FIELD: coal industry. SUBSTANCE: thick gently dipping coal seams are mined simultaneously by two inclined slices upwards with driving of airway common for both slices conveyer mining of lower (leading) slice to underseam roof. Upper slice is mined after full lowering of remaining coal band to position of mining the lower slice. EFFECT: increased safety of mining, higher efficiency of stope, improved ventilation and reduced fire hazard in mining thick gently dipping coal seams with difficult to cave roof. 3 dwg
