FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in pneumatic and pneumohydraulic displacement action machines. Said machine contains housing with inner cylindrical bore accommodating hollow rotor installed eccentrically. Rotor is provided with drive and longitudinal radial shaped slots with opposite concave arc-shaped surfaces. Dividing plates are installed in inserts of plano-convex shape. Inserts are installed in rotor for turning in slots. According to first design version, each dividing plate is provided with channels in form of grooves along side end face surfaces and along end face surface engaging with inner surface of inner cylindrical bore of fixed housing. Said channels are intercommunicated and are connected with inner space of rotor. According to second design version, channels in form of grooves in each plate connected with inner space of rotor are made only along side end face surface with opening to end face surface. According to third design version, channels in form of grooves made in each plate are connected with inner space of rotor only along side surfaces of plate and are stopped from side of end face surface. All friction pairs are provided with ceramic coating. EFFECT: increased efficiency, pressure of pumped gas - compression, reduced friction. 4 cl, 4 dwg
