FIELD: electromagnetic metering valves for fuel jets, particularly for internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic metering valve includes damper 44 for discharge duct 43 of control chamber 41; solenoid 26 for driving armature 27 with possibility of controlling damper 44 through intermediate member 47 and first spring 52 acting upon intermediate member 47 for holding damper 44 in closed position. Valve also includes second spring 61 for disengaging armature and intermediate member 47 and for holding armature 27 in idle arresting position near intermediate member 47. In order to interrupt motion of armature 27 caused by first spring 52, valve includes stopping unit 62 independent from damper 44 and mounted with possibility of reducing excess stroke of armature 27 relative to stroke of intermediate member 47, for quick return of armature 27 to idle arresting position and for absorbing spring back of armature 27 caused by first 52 and second 61 springs. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and safety of valve, possibility for quick control of it, simplified design. 9 cl, 3 dwg
