FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making incision in conjunctiva at the operable muscle projection place. The muscle is selected and stretched in opposite directions. The middle portion of the muscle is selected. The muscle is cut near the attachment place and excised 5-12 mm far from the attachment place. Sutures are put in over the conjunctiva. EFFECT: reduced risk of postsurgical complications; accuracy in predicting operation results.
