FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mounting of electric circuit elements on vehicles. Proposed hood lamp switch mounting unit contains means for fastening the unit of vertical cross extension of automobile front panel made in form of windshield frame cover plate located on horizontal flanging of extension upper edge and accommodating socket with switch installed with spring-loaded press rod to side of hood. Socket is made in form of hollow bulge projecting towards hood. Flat of bulge close to hood is provided with hole accommodating switch. Switch is installed so that its rod and thrust flange are located from outside, and housing is installed in bulge space with projection of terminal block from space in direction opposite to press rod. Windshield frame cover plate is made in form of elongated strip laid from extension to windshield frame and provided with tip lengthwise the strip on its side pointed to hood, with hood seal installed on edge of tip. EFFECT: simplified design of switch mounting unit, reduced labour input when assembling the unit. 4 cl, 3 dwg
