FIELD: transport engineering; protective cover in lower part of windshield. SUBSTANCE: front part of vehicle body has glued in windshield glass with sealing strip made of rubber, Shore hardness 60-80, arranged over entire width of windshield lower part and connected with protective cover (moulding). Sealing strip is fixed on outer surface of glass by means of glue and is provided with slot on base of which glue is placed. Slot is made over entire length of sealing strip equidistantly relative to glass generating line. Outer flange of protective moulding is fitted in slot. Stamping spots are made close to inner flange of protective moulding. Support surfaces of stamping spots are connected with body, in particular, with body front shield extension. EFFECT: simplified mounting of protective moulding, provision of removal of water flow and preventing water from getting into hood space. 7 cl, 5 dwg
