FIELD: timber industry and forestry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manipulator-type loggers. In proposed slewing gear, cross of Hooke's joint rests by its center on ball support which is rigidly secured on frame of self-propelled chassis, and hemisphere made in center of cross is in contact with ball support. Some hydraulic cylinders of turntable tilting mechanism are hinge-connected by some ends with one of axles of Hooke's joint cross, and by other ends, with frame of selfpropelled chassis, and other hydraulic cylinders are connected with other axle of cross and with lower fixed part of roller support. Such design improves rigidly of cross and entire gear as ball support serves as additional support. EFFECT: reduced dynamic loads and oscillations of turntable, improved reliability and increased service life of slewing gear. 2 cl, 3 dwg
