FIELD: nonferrous hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: tin metal is dissolved for 4-12 h in hydrochloric acid with concentration at least 8 M to give solution with molar ratio of tin to initial hydrochloric acid at least 0.12. In resulting solvent is dissolved antimony(III) oxide. After that, tin- and antimony-containing oxides are precipitated by adding tin- and antimony-containing solution into alkali reagent solution at pH 7-12 and temperature 15-90 C. EFFECT: simplified process due to effective dissolution of tin in hydrochloric acid and preparation of well filtered chloride-free product, and reduced cost price of product. 2 tbl, 2 ex
