FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for preparation of basic bismuth salicylate includes obtaining of salicylic acid water solution, adding with stirring of bismuth nitrate solution, washing with water and drying of the obtained precipitate. The water solution of salicylic acid is prepared by adding to the water containing the salicylic acid crystals of the alkali reagent water solution up pH 5-7. The bismuth nitrate precipitation is carried out at molar ratio salicylic acid/bismuth in the range 1.0-1.2, mixture pH 1.5-5 and initial process temperature 18-40°C with its following increase up to 50-90°C.
EFFECT: process simplification, process time decrease and increased degree of the of bismuth extraction to end-product.
