FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes introduction of carbon-containing component into charge in the amount sufficient for content of carbon of 15-30% of mass and ferrosilicon in the amount of 5-10% of mass of charge. Prior to reducing treatment of vanadium-containing slag, metal is tapped. After reducing treatment, repeated heating of modified molten slag is performed. Used as silicon-containing material is mixture of ferrosilicon with calcium silicon in the amount of 10-20% of mass of vanadium-containing component of charge at ratio of ferrosilicon and calcium silicon in mixture of 3: 1 to 10:1, respectively. Proposed method makes it possible to obtain ferrovanadium at high concentration of vanadium and ferroalloy at minimum concentration of vanadium. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 tbl
