FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering treatment course including transcutaneous electric current treatment with apparatus operating in two zones before applying pleoptic treatment. One of zones has spinal process areas from the seventh cervical vertebra to gluteal fold and from the seventh cervical vertebra to the second cervical vertebra, paravertebral areas from the seventh cervical vertebra down to gluteal fold and from the second cervical vertebra to the seventh cervical vertebra, the seventh cervical vertebra being not included into the zone. The second zone includes collar area with the exception of spinal process areas, front area with the exception of the central part of the front. Both zones are treated with electric impulses having frequency of 50-130 Hz, pulse delay equal to 20 mcs. Acting signal level is selected from comfortable feeling. The treatment is carried out in continuous or individually dosed mode. Paravertebral and collar areas are treated beginning from the left side. The areas of trigeminal nerve exit and front are treated beginning from the right side. Treatment is applied to both zones in one session in turn, one of them being treated in individually dosed mode and the other one in continuous mode. The treatment mode alternates with sessions succession. The whole treatment course is 7-11 sessions long. Electric current treatment by means of the apparatus being over, pleoptic treatment course is carried out including retina and optic nerve electric stimulation, ciliary muscle laser stimulation administered in monocular modeduring 5-7 min, laser stimulation of retina and showing non-reversing white-and-black chess-board pattern which cell dimensions cyclically vary while being shown. A cycle comprises linear magnification of dimensions of each cell pattern from 0.8 to 12 cm within 1.25 s succeeded by dimension reduction from 12 to 0.8 cm within next 1.25 s and pause lasting 0.5 s. The central cell of the pattern is white square having contrasting image. The pattern is shown in monocular mode for 10- 15 min for each eye, the patient being concentrated on the central pattern cell. Binocular and stereoscopic vision function is trained after and during the pleoptic treatment course. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
