FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in chemical and other industries for remote opening and emptying containers with toxic loose materials, for instance, sodium cyanide. Installation contains mechanism for delivery of barrels and emptying chamber with drawout device. Emptying chamber accommodates turntable with device for holding and turning of barrel. Said device is made in form of ring in horizontal plane of which needles are installed opposite to each other for reciprocation. Cutting head with tip rigidly installed in head center is provided. Cutting head is essentially ring knife consisting of six sectors including, each, four cutting blades of different height and angle of incidence of blade to plane equal to 25-35°. Installation contains also removal accumulator of cutout bottom plates, chute for emptied barrels, dust collecting system with wet scrubber and system for dissolving product remnants on emptied container. Said system is provided with additional reservoir with liquid forced circulation system hermetically connected with wet scrubber, chute for emptied barrels and product collecting reservoir. EFFECT: provision of ecological safety and complete collection of product at opening and emptying barrels with soft inserts. 7 cl, 5 dwg
