FIELD: ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials based on lanthanide oxide designated for utilization in the fuel unit. Ceramic material shows the general formula: 
where Ln is combination of elements: Ce, Pr and Nd; M′ is at least one of earth-alkaline metals; M″ is at least on of metals taken among group including: Co, Fe, Ni, Zn, Cu, Mn, Al, V, Ir, Mo, W, Pd, Pt, Mg, Ru, Rh, Cr and Zn being in the following ratios: 0 ≤ a ≤ 1; 0.01 <b ≤ 1; 0 ≤ c ≤ 0.6; 0 ≤ d ≤ 1 and also +1<δ <+1. Invention allows to use partially purified raw, i. e lanthanum concentrate that provides the decreased cost. Ceramic material exhibits properties allows to use it in fuel units.
