FIELD: manufacture of knitted products. SUBSTANCE: sewing mechanism has rib disk. To obtain single-line chain link stitch, needle carrier mechanism is positioned forward so that needle carrier crank shaft is positioned above needle perpendicular to conical generatrix surface of rotation of members for moving needle in parallel with member engageable with needle. Rotating looping device is fixed in needle carrier crank shaft for engagement with needle, whose eyelet is positioned in zone adjoining looping device. Sewing mechanism is also provided with rotating looping device and thread carrier mechanism with needle holder, where needle is fixed, and with needle carrier crank fixed on shaft. EFFECT: simplified construction, convenient operation and maintenance and increased efficiency. 1 dwg
