FIELD: optical communication. SUBSTANCE: procedure is realized in device which includes transmitters and receivers of optical signals optically coupled to optical communication line. Optical line has coherent luminous radiation source, beam-splitting plates and reflecting mirrors optically conjugate to it, two partially transmitting layers located between coherent luminous radiation source and reflecting mirrors which are set with inclination relative to planes of reflecting mirrors. Reflecting coats of reflecting mirrors partially transmit luminous radiation and are made of photochrome material or of material which dielectric permittivity changes when exposed to luminous radiation. Receivers of optical signals comprise reflecting mirrors and receiving units optically conjugate to reflecting mirrors. Transmitters of optical signals incorporate sources of light signals and reflecting mirrors. Source of optical signals are mounted for illumination of reflecting coats of reflecting mirrors. Technical result lies in increase of information transmission by factor of 106-108. EFFECT: increased information transmission. 4 cl, 2 dwg
